From Syria :

The artist, Al_khaldi (Ghazi Son of Hashim born in Damascus in 1935) could  present himself in the Arab and international arena by his persisting efforts, his works and his exhibitions over about 50 years ( 1950-1998).

The plastic Artists Union in the European Union has authorised him representative of the modern Arab art in its progessive thought and themes that  combined both originality and modernity. Further, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation ( UNESCO) accredited his art and his distinguished character and style as a pioneer to art which is ralistic in form and symbolic in content . He was also classifed in the Grand French Encyclopedia ( Larousse ) as a researcher and a plastic artist from Syria.
